Beyond serving individual organizations, we partner with resellers and industry specialists to provide customized, private-label counting solutions.

Automating repetitive counts in manufacturing QA/QC

Inbound and outbound inspection is an ideal use case for automated counting. Manufacturing workflows typically require counting the same types of objects on a regular basis within a known environment.

Built for real-world conditions: We understand that production line conditions are rarely perfect. The CountThings app is designed to accommodate typical variations in manufacturing environments. By analyzing sample images from your actual process, we can optimize a Counting Template to deliver peak accuracy and speed under your specific real-world visual conditions.

Custom optimization at no extra cost: To get started quickly, you can choose from our extensive library of existing counting templates. If our current options do not perfectly match your parts or materials, our engineering team will work directly with you to optimize an existing template or create a new one — no custom software development required. In most cases, we provide this optimization service free of charge.

Auditable counts you can stand behind

From small local manufacturers to Fortune 500 plants, QA/QC teams rely on CountThings to verify the exact quantities of inbound and outbound deliverables. Our automated solution provides highly accurate, documented counts that protect your operations during formal audits, resolve client discrepancies, or allow you to confidently dispute incorrect shipments from vendors.

Advanced Capabilities

CountThings is designed to drop straight into your existing inspection workflow. For teams that need more, our engineering team can help you configure these advanced capabilities:

Workflow integration & data sharing

Push counting results into the systems you already run — ERP, MES, QMS, or your mobile inspection app. Whether you have a clear specification or a rough idea of what you need, we will work with you to design the right data flow. There is typically no cost for integration support.

Regulatory compliance & audit trails

If you work under ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, or any other quality standard, we can help you configure the app to support audit readiness, record retention, and data integrity. Every count is a timestamped photo, so your audit evidence is a byproduct of doing the work. If this applies to you, contact our team for a discussion of how to fine-tune your app for your compliance requirement.

Enterprise management & cost optimization

For larger organizations, we can set up an enterprise system with volume pricing. You can manage licenses centrally and pre-configure features for each team so every user has exactly the features they need for their role.

The Offline Advantage: Secure, On-Device Counting

In manufacturing, count data and imagery are often highly confidential. CountThings performs all counting locally on your device, ensuring that images of your proprietary materials, part counts, and shipment volumes never leave your control or get exposed to outside systems.

Even in locations with zero connectivity—such as a remote receiving dock, a classified area, or a facility with spotty Wi-Fi—our on-device technology keeps your inspection process running smoothly without relying on the internet.
